    Another chapter in this year's spring hunt to see where the snowline is at and what gear you need to access the backcountry in certain locations!

    Conditions Report: 

    Current As Of: 28 April 2026*

    Activity During Report: hiking

    Conditions: 

    Davis Lake (Hilton Creek) looks a lot better than Bishop Creek, thanks to lower elevation. There's only patchy snow on the last mile before the lake and it was easy enough to travel through. A bit muddy, but not bad.
