ZigZag Link Crash Pad

If you've spent any time bouldering at the Buttermilks or Happys here in Bishop, you already know that some landing zones are... less than ideal. Some of those boulders are massive, and one standard crash pad doesn't always give you the coverage you want.

That's where the ZigZag LINK Crash Pad comes in.

The LINK is a modular bouldering crash pad built around ZigZag's patented 360° modularity, allowing you to connect any side of one LINK pad to another. Side-to-side, end-to-end, or whatever configuration makes sense for the problem, you can build your landing zone around the boulder instead of trying to make the boulder fit your pads.

And because every side connects, you can link up with your friends' LINK pads to create an even larger landing zone when the problem calls for it.

LINK Double Crash Pad Set — $270
Includes 2 LINK Crash Pad Units + 4 LINK Tapes + 1 premium carry harness.

LINK Triple Crash Pad Set — $405
Includes 3 LINK Crash Pad Units + 6 LINK Tapes + 1 premium carry harness.

The double and triple setups are where the LINK really starts to make sense for Bishop bouldering. Connect the pads together to create a larger, more continuous landing zone, then add other LINK pads from your crew when you need even more coverage.

Because let's be honest, when you're climbing some of the bigger lines in the Buttermilks and Happys, having more foam underneath you is rarely a bad thing.
