Eastside Sports - Hike - Climb Run - Boulder - Camp - Backpack
When you need to compress volume without significantly adding weight, the Ultra-Sil™ Compression Sack is an excellent solution. Made from a 30D diamond rip-stop siliconized CORDURA® fabric this compression sack is far tougher than its weight would suggest. Ideal for use inside your pack or travel bag when you need to compress clothing or bulky soft items to allow space for other essentials or fun holiday items.
ASSORTED COLORS
Waterproof? It is only water resistant. The seams are not tape sealed, and the top does not utilize a roll-top closure.
Suitable for bikepacking? Not if it will be carried externally. If it is inside a bike bag, fine – if not, the 30D fabric may be damaged by contact with sharp or abrasive surfaces. We would suggest the eVent Compression Dry Sack as a handlebar bag.
A good choice for a tent storage bag? Perhaps. Carrying the tent canopy in your pack (with the poles under the compression straps) is a great idea. However - the canopy may not compress that much. An Ultra-Sil Stuff Sack may be more appropriate.
