At Eastside Sports, we’re always on the lookout for the most innovative, high-quality gear to help climbers find adventure and push their limits with safety at the forefront. That’s why we’re excited to announce that we’re now carrying select products from Avant Climbing Innovations, a company dedicated to developing cutting-edge solutions for trad, multi-pitch, and rope solo climbers.

Avant Climbing was founded by La Sportiva-sponsored professional climber and former Black Diamond product designer Brent Barghahn (YouTube/Instagram) who saw gaps in trad, multipitch, and rope solo gear that mainstream brands weren’t addressing. Rather than rely on DIY fixes, he sought to fill that gap in climbing gear by developing products that enhanced efficiency and safety in gear-intensive climbing disciplines.

Brent recently stopped by our store during a climbing trip to Bishop and we were honored by the opportunity to stock some of Avant’s most innovative products.
