  • The Teva ReEmber Camp Slip On: The Camp Shoes to Beat Them All?!?

    March 13, 2026 2 min read

We'll admit, camp shoes are a “nice to have,” not an absolute, especially if your limited on space and weight. Nothing levels up a camping experience though more than getting out of your boots at the end of the day and putting on shoes that give you "at-home" comfort no matter where you are. And, even if you don't camp or backpack a bunch, these shoes bring big comfort to your time at home too!

So we put Teva’s newest camp shoe, the ReEmber Camp Slip-On, to the test!

The ReEmbers look right at home in even the most rugged backcountry environments such as those found in Death Valley!

    Fit and Design

The Teva ReEmber Camp Slip-On is only available in full sizes, but that’s rarely an issue for camp footwear. Precision fit isn’t the priority here, you just need something that gets you from the tent to the campfire, to the bathroom, and back without fuss.

What's more important are comfort and warmth and the ReEmber passed the test for both categories with flying colors. The test nights got cold - down to 25 degrees. Yet, our toes stayed warm!

The slip-on design makes them quick to put on, though getting your heel fully seated can take a second. The upside? Once they’re on, they stay on -- unlike many camp slippers that feel like they’re constantly trying to escape your feet.

    Adjustable Fit and Versatility

An adjustable strap allows you to fine-tune the width, which is especially nice for folks with low-volume feet.

You can also fold the heel down and wear the ReEmber like a traditional slipper, adding versatility for lounging around camp or inside the tent.

    Durability

The sole is sturdy and provides plenty of protection against all those sharp and pointy rocks which are hard to see at night.

The ReEmber too heavy to be brought on backpacking trips, but it's perfect for car camping and base camps.

    Final Verdict

Are we happy with the Teva ReEmber Camp Slip-On?
Absolutely. These camp shoes will be joining us on many more trips.

Staying toasty on a cold morning? Mission accomplished.
