The Ursack Major XL bear bag is a larger version of Ursack's classic Major and holds about 50% more food than its smaller sibling. At 8.8 ounces, our Major XL bear bag is still more lightweight than a traditional bear canister and prevents bears from getting your food in their territory.
Please note, in the Sierra Nevada, Ursacks are considered appropriate bear proof food storage by the National Forest but NOT by Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks or by Yosemite National Park.
