Climbing in the Buttermilk

There are a wealth of things to do to keep the outdoor enthusiast busy in the Bishop area. Climbing - long known as a Mecca of sorts for climbers and mountaineers, the area has a place to go climb in all but the most extreme weather.

 

 

 

The Owens Gorge in particular is a great place for sport climbing and there are even some really great routes there that require traditional techniques. Like you actually have to stick your hand in a crack.
